Super hot day so glad to skip the line! Inside was too crowded though it was rather uncomfortable and the aircon didn't cope. I went on a Wednesday. the French guide spoke English and she was alright.

No long queues and our guide 'Come to Mama ' Sabrina was knowledgeable and easy to understand. Focus on Michaelangelo and Raphael as collection is too vast and that was fine with me.
