The website (and the agent in Amsterdam) said "no queueing" for the Van Gogh Museum. Not so. A formidable lady at the Museum directed us to a queue so that our tickets could be exchanged for the 'recognised' museum tickets. Fortunately the queue was not long but we certainly could not bypass it. Also, the agent in Amsterdam advised us that our canal bus ticket was valid for 24 hours after we first boarded the vessel. Not so. It is valid for 24 hours after you present your receipt to the canal bus kiosk. So don't do as we did and present your receipt in the morning, go to the museum and then hop on the canal bus late in the afternoon. Your 24 hours starts from the time you received the tickets, not from the time you get on.
