My husband and I took this trip on Sunday 21st November 2010, the early pick up 06:05 was not a problem as the bus picked up on time the driver Dwayne was very funny and kept us all entertained. The first stop at the Hoover Dam was great and we had plenty of time to take photo's. But the highlight was the Grand Canyon, we arrive in hale and a light snow storm and were told that the Sky Walk was closed we were really upset so decided to go and have our buffet lunch inside thank God..before we took the connecting shuttle bus to the Canyon. When we arrived on the Rim the blizzard had stopped and the mist was lifting from the Canyon to reveal it's true wonder and then they decided to open the Sky Walk again, some visitors decided not to travel back up to the walk so we were very lucky to have the walk to ourselves. The buffet provided was okay but don't have the ribs as they looked rank but the chicken was fab and look out for the waitress cleaning the tables with no teeth...very entertaining. We were dropped back at our hotel around 7pm so plenty of time to shower and hit the Strip again for another night of madness. Book your Sky Walk tickets when booking the trip it will save you 50 Dollars. REMEMBER to take warm clothes in your luggage as you will need them in the Canyon.
