Waimea canyon trip = 5 stars, highly recommended. River trip worth seeing but probably only a 3. Guide Clarence was very pleasant.

Beautiful scenery and a friendly driver. Shame the mini-bus developed a fault and we had to wait for a replacement to be sent. 2nd bus was a little smaller and was a little uncomfortable and too crowded because of lack of storage space. The packed lunch was pretty reasonable I thought.

Pearl Harbour was fascinating and should be a 'must do' for everyone. Our driver "cousin Shannon" was both interesting and entertaining.
However skip the the hop-on hop-off tour it was poor. The frequency was not what it should be and when you switch from one route to another the connections don't link. We wasted time waiting at 2 stops in Waikiki that they have cut from the itinerary and the nearest stop to the Iolani Palace turned out to be a good 15min walk.
