The actual "Burj Khalifa at the top" was fantastic but getting the actual ticket to go up the to top was a mission. So this review is about the Viator booking I made which gave us the confirmation of the booking.
I had a confirmed booking (or what I thought was a confirmed booking) and we wanted to go up at 5.30pm so we could see the city in daylight and dusk. We arrived around 5.00pm for our 5.30pm entrance - I am not exactly sure what the problem, was there was a third party involved and the people on the desk had to confirm our booking with that operator??? and that operator didn't have our booking even thou I could show the Burj Khalifa people a confirmed booking from Viator - the Burj Khalifa people made a few phone calls which took over an hour to sort out - finally they offered us a tour at 9.30pm!!! which we declined as we had been travelling all day and we would have to wait another 3 hours to go up and we would miss the sunset etc. They finally sorted it out and let us go up but it was too late to see the sunset we only saw it in the evening light which was still fantastic but we were disappointed that we didn't get to see it both ways especially since we specifically asked for that time at the time of the booking and it was confirmed at that time - not sure whos problem this was but sometimes things are not what they seem.
