Washington DC Day Trip from New York

My Review: This was a fantastic day out and I fully recommend it to anyone who wants to see the best of Washington but has limited time. The bus left on time and the journey was surprisingly quick, with plenty of stops on the way and the way back. The tour guide was very good, his English wasn't perfect but he was very knowledgeable. The bus was a small 15 seater, but was perfect temperature, and it nice having a small tour group. The attraction themselves were brilliant, and we had plenty of time at each. In an ideal world I'd have liked more time at the memorials, but I knew we would be limited on time and it was important to get round everything. I much preferred the guided tour to going by train myself as it was nice to have a guide take us to all of the main attractions and show us where everything was - it was much more time effective than wandering around with a map getting lost at double the cost. Similarly, there isn't much more to Washington than the tourist attractions, so it wouldn't be worth the time and cost of staying there for a couple of days to see everything - the day trip was definitely the best option. I had a fantastic time and would recommend this trip to anyone!! Thanks Viator!
