The Hispanic Network LLC (THN) has a networking group component that connects businesses on a monthly basis in order to generate a steady stream of warm leads and referrals while building brand awareness. About the Founder: Maria Morales-Prieto is the President and CEO of The Hispanic Network (THN), a business development firm dedicated to bridging the gap between the burgeoning Hispanic market and the world. Before founding THN, she served as the exective director of the Long Island Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. During her tenure, Maria doubled the chamber's membership roster and grew the attendance as its monthly meetings by six times! Maria also launched the chamber's business incubator called the Smart Business Exchange. However, Maria is best known for her work at Latin Long Island magazine where she served as managing editor, writing, editing, designing, and supervising the many writers and planning the publication's two yearly galas. Under Maria's direction, the magazine doubled its subscription base and tripled its circulation. Maris co-produced a documentary for PBS entitled The Cuban Americans, founded and served as editor of her own publication, El Informal, which was dedicated to Cuban exiles around the globe, and was commissioned to create a sitcom for a producer with the Fox Network. Maria has written columns for various publications such as Long Island Business News, Catalina magazine and Divina.com and was featured in the NY Times best selling book about successful Latinas called, "La Vida Rica" by Yrma Rico. Interestingly, she is also the great grand daughter of Cuba's second president, Jose Miguel Gomez and the grand niece of another Cuban president, Miguel Mariano Gomez.

Great tour just wish the Italians would turn up the air conditioning. If you're American, I recommend buying a hand held fan and taking a towel to wipe your sweat. The guides were great nonetheless.

Pisa and the Leaning Tower Half-Day Trip from Florence

My Rating

A must see landmark if you're anywhere in the vicinity. Our guide was fantastic and we had free time to have lunch at a sidewalk cafe in the shadow of the Leaning Tower. Just recommend having an umbrella, hand held fan and towel to wipe your sweat if you're going during summer months. It gets really hot.

Murano, Burano and Torcello Half-Day Sightseeing Tour
Venice, Italy
My Rating

Watching the glass blowing was incredibly hot. You're practically in the oven with the glass. Don't get off the boat in Torcello. There's nothing to see and it's super hot during summer months. Burano was absolutely beautiful. Get your cameras ready and the lace shops were much more interesting then we expected. This trip only loses a fifth star because of the waste of time on Torcello.

Fabulous tour and a must when in Venice. It's why you're going there. The guide was fantastic and all Viator tours use ear pieces so you can clearly hear the descriptions of what you're seeing.

Interesting tour but not a must. Only do if you have plenty of time, which we had so it was worth the time.
