We loved our tour of Point Du Hoc, Omaha Beach, the American Cemetary, and Arrowmanches. We felt like we got a good overview of the events of D Day and World War II. Our guide was very knowledgeble and answered all of our questions. Although she spoke English, which was so kind and helpful, her accent was heavy and at times she was hard to understand, though I generally had no trouble understanding her. She picked us up right at the Bayeax train station as we had taken the train from Paris, which took about 2 hours or so. The only thing I would suggest is bringing snacks on the trip since it's a five hour tour and there are no food breaks. I was a little hungry by the time it was over. Overall, fascinating tour with lots of cool information. I learned a lot and was very moved.
