We chose this tour since we wanted to experience true Fado in Lisbon without having to find our way to a venue in the Alfama and back to the hotel on our own late at night in a strange city. We were not disappointed. The five singers each did a four song set singers and along with their accompanists were exceptional. The restaurant food was tasty, probably as good as we could expect for typical local cuisine with very generous pouring of Portugese wines. The only negative would be the van tour before the Fado show. The van and guide were about an hour late so we had a rushed, drive-by tour of many interesting sites with only a few stops and photo ops before we had to hurry to get to our restaurant for the start of the Fado show.

This was a spectacular way to see the heart of Lisbon. Our guide Simon provided excellent commentary and led us around without a problem. We were a bit apprehensive about biking up and down the hills of Lisbon, however, if the electric bikes make it easy 70 year ollds, anyone can make this trip.
