We had an excellent experience. We had to change our departure time at the last minute, and the agent was very helpful and we were able to secure a time only an hour off of our preferred time. Everything worked out great. Our water taxi pilot arrived exactly at 4pm local time, just as we requested. He was friendly and helpful, and we were at the cruise port inside of 20 minutes. We were travelling with two other people, and they also were happy with the water taxi service. One thing to keep in mind - if you're staying at a hotel near San Marco, the drop off point is called "Todaro." There's no sign for Todaro, but no worries - it's the dock right next to the "San Marco" sign. Just go to San Marco pier, and ask for "Todaro/Bucintoro Viaggi." and you'll be fine. Also - be sure to print our your voucher and bring it with you and give to the water taxi pilot. Our only regret is that we need more vacation time so that we can do this again. Thanks again to the people at Bucintoro Viaggi for such great service! We hope to visit Venezia again very soon!

We had an excellent experience with the Viator agent in Venice. We arrived in Venice from Dublin, and had our water taxi voucher with us. Keep in mind, where the the office is located. The agent there was very nice, and we had to wait about 30 minutes for the other passengers to arrive, since we were sharing a water taxi with 10 other people. Once everyone arrived, we were instructed to go to the piers (about a 5 minute walk left from the airport exit door). In about 10 minutes time at the pier, our taxi pilot arrived, and took us to Todaro port in about 40 minutes, including other passenger stops. Keep in mind that Todaro and San Marco piers are one and the same, but the signs don't indicate it. We did have an irate pair of passengers on the boat - something about a fare dispute - but you don't have a choice of passengers when you share a water taxi. A private taxi is much more expensive and we got great service for the money. Our overall experience was excellent, and we will definitely use the service again!
