We were picked up by our tour guide (Nuno) in a small van and headed out to the Duoro Valley. Nuno was very knowledgeable and helpful. He took us to a couple of incredible view points, we stopped at a Pastelaria where we could have coffee and a pastry, then took us on a river cruise, had lunch in Pinhao and then we spent time at a fabulous winery. The winery was lovely, Nuno started stomping grapes and a couple of us got to join in ~ fun and fabulous. We had our own patio tasting area and had lots of time to sample wine and port.
The only reason I gave this a 4 instead of a 5 was that I was expecting the river cruise to be on a boat like the one in the picture and I expected that we would be going back to Porto on the boat. The river cruise was were on was on a small boat and we toured the river for about 45 minutes. That was nice, but just not what I expected. We were taken back to Porto in the van.
This was a FABULOUS and fun tour. Virginia was our guide, she took about 15 minutes to get us comfortable with the segway and how to use it. We spent three hours touring Porto, she showed us all the highlights and was very knowledgeable. I regret that I didn't take my camera. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to take pictures and navigate the segway, but the segways are easy to use. If you go on this tour I would highly recommend bringing a camera.
We saw much more on the segway tour than we would have been able to see walking and it gave us a great opportunity to decide what we wanted to go back to and do again. The Railway station is a must see it is part of this tour.

Marc was fabulous. We did 4 locations in two hours, he was personable, fun and very knowledgeabe.
Pictures were fabulous! Thanks Marc.
