Driver was exactly on time and got us smoothly to the airport for our flight.

We were super happy to have prebooked this tour as the line at the catacombs was 3+ hours long! Our tour was on time and our guide was pleasant, easy to understand and very knowledgeable. We got lots of historical tidbits along the way and he gave us plenty of time at important spots to soak in the info and atmosphere. There are 120+ steps down on the way in and 80+ circular twisty narrow steps on the way up, so wear good shoes and be in fair shape. I was huffing and puffing the last 20 steps or so, but it was sooo worth it :)

This tour was a long walking tour- took us nearly 3 hours to complete. Our guide was well prepared- he brought a binder full of extra pictures and maps to illustrate several of the changes that he discussed along the way. It was a great mix of historical and contemporary events and sites (even a scene from the Disney movie Ratatouille!) Paris is not known for it's access to public toilets, so make sure you have everything taken care of before hand, and be sure to wear your comfiest shoes.

This tour was quite a surprise. It was not just about pot- it was full of history too. Our guide was a very pleasant college student who took us around, told us a lot of history, showed us historical points of interest as well as the local "coffee shops". There is something for everyone on this tour- loud, bar-like shops, quiet cafe-like shops, big corporate names, and small independently owned places. It also turned out that we got a private tour- there were no other guests, just my boyfriend and myself, but instead of cancelling (like other companies might have done) we carried on the tour with just the 3 of us... it was perfect!!
