We had purchased the 'upgraded' tour that was to begin at 8:30. We did not enter the Colosseum until 9:30 and others on the tour were not aware of any 'upgrade,' so we felt cheated on that one. Once inside, our guide(s) were very knowledgeable. The rest of the day in Ancient Rome was interesting, but we would not book it again.

Our guide, Tiffany McIver, was one of the best we have ever been with. Her total knowledge of her subject and her humor were over the top great. She was a fantastic teacher for those of us who were there to learn about the Vatican.

Fun experience. Walking and standing for the entire time was a strain for some of those in the group. Some foods and drinks better than others, but overall a good time.

Beautiful scenery! However, too many people in the group and the guide had to explain everything in three different languages. Nobody was happy with the guide and the time it took to get explanations made. We prefer a smaller group and all of one language.

There were only five of us with our guide in a small van. Wonderful! The guide was well versed in his city's history and sights. Very enjoyable.

The person meeting us found us right away, got the vehicle while we waited, and filled us in on the sights as we drove to our hotel. Good driver; nice, clean vehicle; money well spent.
