I was really looking forward to this tour but it was disappointing! Toledo is a lovely quaint town but we were given no time to enjoy it! It was a day tour but this really consisted of 3 hours... as we stopped before getting to Tolado at a tourist shop and afterwards at a craft shop. We booked the typical lunch - and had hoped for typical spanish food but it was mass produced and of poor quaility! The tourist lunch was even less appealing!! There is a high speed train from Madrid to Toledo and so I would recommend catching that giving you time to enjoy Toledo at your own pace - it had some wonderful marzipan shops and great looking cafes - it would have been lovely to have had the chance to see these!
Great tour - had worried that it would be too hot - it was in the 40's when we were there! But the guide went at a good pace and was careful to stop in shady areas! A drink midway was provided and the guide was knowledgable and friendly! Would highly recommend as a way of orientating yourself around the city!
