Viator VIP: Sistine Chapel Private Viewing and Small-Group Tour of the Vatican's Secret Rooms

tour started late with a stand in person from administration doing his first guided tour.Absolutely not good ,arrived in sistine chapel at 5.30 pm and virtually dark for most of time until lights were turned on by priests for "vip"guests.Missed 2 out of 3 main promised rooms ,entry not given to our guide .Total rip off ,DO NOT DO THIS TOUR.This was the worst viator tour of the 5 that we did ,think carefully before buying this one .

We learned that your guide was actually an official Vatican guide, for whom we’ve received excellent reviews in the past. Regarding the Sistine Chapel -- special lighting is used to preserve the delicate frescoes, and also the light has been studied to show the frescoes as they are meant to be seen.
On the day of your tour, we understand that both rooms mentioned online (the Bramante Staircase and the Niccoline Chapel) were visited, as well as the Cabinet of Masks. We state in the tour description that rooms visited may change, but to make this even more clear, we’ve added an official line’ about this in the tour’s ‘Additional Information’ section.
