This Tuscany in One Day Sightseeing Tour was fantastic and a must-do if you have a full day in the area. Our guide, Sandra, was extremely informative and very charming, and our driver, Franco, was an expert. The pace for the day was comfortable, and Sienna, San Gimignano, and Pisa were delightful. We loved the combination of having a guided tour of each town with enough free time to take pictures and to choose something else we wanted to explore. The lunch and wine tasting at the farm was fabulous - good food and good wine! Climbing the Leaning Tower not only gives a different perspective of the tower, but the views from the top are beautiful. We were excited about taking this tour; however, this tour exceeded our expectations.

The Royal Castles of Neuschwanstein and Linderhof Day Tour from Munich was fabulous and a must-do if you can make the time in Bavaria. Ellen, our guide, was delightful, and Dino, our driver was an expert. From the moment we left Munich, Ellen's commentary made us begin to see Bavaria through the eyes of someone who loves the region. The views from the bus made the trip worthwhile, even if we had not visited the historical sites. Linderhof was a treat from the fountain to the views to the palace itself - inside and outside. The stop for shopping in Oberammergau was fun, and there were souvenirs for every budget. Neuschwanstein was a long-anticipated gift for the imagination. Lunch at the Hotel Meuller was organized, efficient, and reasonably priced. We were in and out in about 40 minutes which gave us time to take the shuttle to the upper bridge, enjoy the views, take pictures, and walk down to the meeting point for our tour time. The castle itself is breathtaking. Even with scaffold covering one side of the castle, we were not disappointed with the remaining views and especially appreciated the maintenance of this global treasure. This was a fantastic tour, and even though we had high expectations before we took the tour, those expectations were exceeded at every turn.
