This was an amazing tour, despite the very hot weather. Our tour guide, Kevin, was sure to keep us hydrated and brought us to a vendor for cheap water! Kevin was awesome, and so knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this tour!

I did this tour mostly for my husband, but I actually really enjoyed it. The guide, "Bobby Pinn" was very knowledgeable. This was a fun tour! My favorite part was the site of Led Zeppelin's album cover.

I typically really like Hop on Hop off, but was a little disappointed with NYC's. I did get a lot of information, but only because we did a 3 day pass and used it to get around. I liked when the guides used a microphone and could be heard. There was one woman whose voice was fed through headphones; didn't like that. There was one man who spoke without the mic and we could barely hear him. Like I said, we did learn a lot, but because we were on it so often and had many different guides. I didn't like how some of them pushed the need to be left tips....they were really pushy about it and one guy actually watched to see if you would drop a tip in the bucket, and would remind you of tips as you walked past it. One guy was very rude and lectured for 5 mins about garbage...someone's water bottle rolled off the seat and into the aisle and the guy lectured how we shouldn't liter on his bus. He treated us like 5 year olds on a field trip. It was the end of the day, and he clearly was anxious to get back. I would recommend the bus pass as it is a good way to see the city, but maybe do a different company.
