Excellent day out. Fantastic tour guide (Stefano) and a good blend of things to do without travelling silly distances.

My only recommendation would drop the fram visit and slightly reduce the time in Gimignano in favour of more time in Pisa - there simply wasn't enough time there to see everything and climb the tower.

I'd give the Accademia 1 star for the 1.15hr wait whilst the non-group people walked in without issue - and then did a self guided tour for just a few $. The guide was very average and I also had problems with the headset. Overall a huge dissapointment.

I'd give the Uffizi 4 stars - again there was a significant wait for groups so don't believe the "skip the lines" story. The guide however was excellent and the equipment worked well.

You could so a self guided tour, but I'd do that when you've got a lot of time on your hands. The guided tour was just enough for most people.

A good tour covering quite a significant amount of territory and topics. You'll need a sit down and a coffee afterwards.

Guide was good, knowledgeable but a bit obnoxious.

Make sure you climb to the top of the dome at the end!
