The Swim, Hold and Feed the Sharks Program

My Review: Although holding a nurse shark in your lap is quite amazing, the guides didn't really know a whole lot about the creature that they were introducing. We asked a lot of questions which couldn't be answered by our Jamaican guides. A little surfing later on the Internet got me my answers to the questions in seconds. I can't help wondering why you wouldn't know everything there was to know about sharks, especially since you are doing shark shows daily. Apart from that I would say the Shark encounter would have been better if the guides were a little more enthusiastic about their jobs. AND to boot we were approached later near the change rooms by one of the guides asking for a "little tip". Maybe somewhere else in the world, like the San Diego Seaworld, the Shark encounter would be awesome but in Jamaica, I sadly have to say it was "so so".

My Review: The Dolphin Program was great...with only 7 people in our group we had a full 50 minutes of attention from two dolphins. It was a wonderful experience that everyone should do once in their lives. These are the most amazing creatures and are VERY smart and fun to be around. Do yourself a favor and give it a try.
