The first stop on the tour was the Shanghai Museum. We had around 1 hour to visit the museum, however the guide did not follow and instead waited in the day or went somewhere else. We also visited the Fresh Water Pearl Gallery which is basicly just a shop wanting to see you stuff. Durin this time the guide also waited in the car. I did not eat any of the lunch, however the portions were very big. I asked the other person on the tour what they thought of the food and they said it tasted "cheap". We also walked along the Bund. During this time the guide offered to take photo's for us. We also visited the Yuyuan Garden's, however this was very rushed! This tour needs to significantly improve. The tour info page is very misleading. I booked this tour thinking it would be a full day tour, but instead the tour started when I was picked up at my hotel 1hr and 15 minutes later than advertised. The tour finished at 2pm, however it stated the tour finishes at 6pm!. I also took Huangpu River Cruise and Bund City Lights Evening Tour of Shanghai in the evening which it is stated starts at 6:30pm, however because this tour finished 4 hours earlier than advertised I had to wait for four hours. The guide seemed very rushed throughout most of the entire tour. I also noticed that the guide was having to work long hours, from 8am to 8pm as he also does the river cruise tour. I want to note, the guide was friendly allowing me to borrow his umbrella for the day. Overal though this tour was really disappointing. Sadly I wouldn't recommend this tour.

In my opinion this tour isn't worth the money. The boat was very crowded. You can enjoy better views of the Shanghai Skyline from the bund in your own time for free.

I was picked up from my hotel at the time stated by the driver. I was then taken to the airport whereI was joined by other tourists. The short flight was excellent with a free drink given to each passenger. The tour guide was excellent, very passionate, friendly and interesting! Taroko Gorge is a really nice place to visit while in Tawian. The tour also takes you to the beach where you can see the Pacific Ocean. The only bad thing about this tour that towards the very end of the tour you are taken to this dance show which you have to pay extra for. The dancers put on a very nice show, however they then pick people out of the tour who are watching to join in with the dance. After a while they get everyone joining in by doing this dance while everyone holds hands. Before you know it theres someone taking photographs of you dancing with them. After a few minutes they have printed them all out while you continue to dance beginning you to buy them. When we refused to buy any they looked very annoyed! The train journey back is very well organised. The tour guide shows you the train and platform. After arriving back at the station in Taipei we was quickly dropped off to our hotels.

I was the only person on the Taipei Night Tour that included a Mongolian BBQ Dinner. I feel that this tour could be improved if the the tour guide provides a better service by making reference to the buildings that we had passed while in the car enroute to the Lungshan Temple, night market and Taipei 101. Although my guide was very friendly he seemed to forget his role as "tour guide" and for most of the entire trip was chating another language to the driver which lead me to feel ignored and somwhat ripped off. The tour guide would frequently say "ask me question" which I found really annoying!! I strongly recommend you DONT eat the Mongolian BBQ Buffet. Shortly after returning to my hotel I was really ill with food poisoning and had to spend most of the next day in bed!!! I enjoyed Lungshan Temple, however found it strange that the guide asked me to pray with him to Buddhist Gods. Surely it should be common knowledge that the tourists on this tour may have their own religious beliefs. As we left the temple the guide requested that I leave a small donation too! The night market is pretty interesting, however the guide seemed more interested in seeing a fortune teller at a place nearby, prehaps as he would get some commision?. I refused his offer As for Taipei 101, the guide offers you a choice of either going to the observation deck or staying in the ground floor mall area for 20-30 minutes. From my experience I would not recommend this tour. You could easily visit the temple, Taipei 101 and Night market on your own. I also found it quite uncomfortable at the buffet restraunt being on my own during this tour.

Absolutely fantastic tour! Very well organised and the lunch is delicious!
