Atlantis Submarine Expedition Tour
Bridgetown, Barbados
My Rating

Our tour was booked for 11 am, but when we rang to confirm we were told that the 11am slot was booked out for two months and we had a choice of 10 am or 12 am, but we were not told this at the time of booking or afterwards. The trip itself was very entertaining, Neville was the member of the crew who gave us a safety talk and he was hilarious. We were a bit diappointed with the number of fish we saw and the coral isn't anywhere as near as colourful as in the brochure, but it was a great experience and we would do it again.

Natural Wonders of Barbados Tour including Harrison's Cave
Barbados, Barbados
My Rating

We were picked up on time and were given the itinerary which did not include Orchid World. We were told it had not been on their schedule for five years!! It was a stop on the tour which we had been looking forward to so it was a big disappointment. We were taken to Earthworks where the pottery was extremely expensive and had to waste half an hour there and then on to Flower Forest which had lovely plants, but very few flowers. Harrison's Cave was wonderful, but be prepared to get wet and the nature Reserve was worth taking the trip just to see the monkeys and their new born babies. There is a bounty on the monkeys in Barbados so the Reserve uses our entrance fees to buy the monkeys from the bounty hunters. The lunch was chicken or fish and fries or macaroni pie at a restaurant called Sand Dunes. As I have a wheat allergy, it was nice not to be given sandwiches. All in all, a pleasant day.
