My Review: An excellent trip with a knowledgeable guide. Would have liked a little bit longer perhaps to go on one of the shorter walks in the park.

Hoover Dam Tour With Lake Mead Cruise

My Review: THIS TRIP INVOLVED A LOT OF WAITING AND QUEUEING AT SEVERAL POINTS INCLUDING A FEEDER STATION AND AT LAKE MEAD. WOULD HAVE PREFERRED MORE TIME AT THE DAM (EVEN THOUGH OUR DRIVER 'GAVE' US AN EXTRA HALF AN HOUR) RATHER THAN STOP AT AN EXPENSIVE CHOCOLATE SHOP. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THE TRIPS CANNOT BE MORE ORGANISED SO THAT YOU CAN GO DIRECT TO YOUR DESTINATION RATHER THAN BE 'FED' THROUGH SOMEWHERE ELSE TO CATCH ANOTHER COACH. ALSO, THE PHOTO TAKEN AT LAKE MEAD WAS CLAIMED TO BE FOR THE US COASTGUARD (SEVERAL HUNDRED MILES INLAND ON A LAKE ?) WHEN IT WAS JUST ANOTHER CYNICAL PLOY TO PART PEOPLE WITH THEIR CASH. HOOVER DAM IS MORE SECURITY CONSCIOUS YET THEY WERE HAPPY TO LET YOU GO WITHOUT A PHOTO TAKEN.

Grand Canyon All American Helicopter Tour

My Review: Although expensive, the tour gave us a touch of luxury with the limo rides. The flight was smoother than I expected. Could have done with a bit longer in the canyon, but on the whole it was a great excursion.
