Our guide picked us up at the hotel promptly for the short 20 minute drive. The VAN was very comfortable and fit all 7 of us just fine. On the way the guide covered the history of Versailles and all the kings so we were very prepared once we arrived. She dropped us off right at the front gates and we received our tickets and coupon for guided audio headsets. We toured the palace and some of the gardens; it was a beautiful and sunny day for early April. After we toured Versailles, our guide met us a the front gate at the arranged time and on the trip back answered all question we had regarding Paris and touring other attractions. We definitely enjoyed our afternoon at Versailles.
