Excellent. A wonderful guide (Adrien), extremely knowledgeable in so many areas, gave us a tour and the history of the area but we had time to view what we were most interested in (the Jewish quarter and museum in Girona) at our leisure, a beautiful stop and walk along the Costa Brava - we had a great day and would recommend this trip highly to friends.
This enabled us to get a good overview of sites in Barcelona and to cover a fair distance. It is well organized, heading in one direction only, so not confusing and easy to use. We did follow the 2 routes and we were able to join the 2nd route without covering a lot of what we had seen already ourselves on foot. In retrospect, a 2 day pass would have been better and more relaxed. We did not do everything we wanted to do on Montjuic, for example, because it was the end of the day then and time was short. We did find that at certain times the buses were full and we had to wait for about 25 minutes for the next one, which did interfere with our planned itinerary. We want to point out that we arrived at the bus depot to find that our voucher (printed before we left), did not list the number of people (there were 2 of us) and we had some difficulty getting onto email to find a more recent voucher sent by Viator (We were already traveling when the latter was sent). It would have been helpful if the final voucher had been sent earlier, prior to our departure.
We enjoyed this tour. The tour guide was very good and Segovia, particularly, was beautiful. We also had a good balance there between free time and a guided tour. However, in Avila, we would have preferred more free time on our own to just wander around the town and less time touring the sites of St Teresa.
