Prague Day Trip from Vienna

My Review: If it had not been for our guide, the ride up and back would have been boring. He was great! He was full of facts, stories, the history of Bohemia, the Hapsburgs, Prague, Vienna...I could go on. He was like Professor Baer in "Little Women". Our driver and our Prague local guide were also superb. Because of traffic on the highway, we detoured to some smaller roads, and my group got to see a lot of smaller Czech villages and countryside and it was wonderful. Thanks!

Budapest Day Trip from Vienna

My Review: I enjoyed the trip but not the lunch stop. It would have been nicer if it had been an authentic Hungarian restaurant and not some restaurant in a chain hotel. Our guide really sounded like she was reading the history of Hungary from some printed document, and that was not very interactive because she was sitting down, not even facing us or talking to us. The local Budapest guide was good, and she did take us to some excellent photo op places. I liked it, but this excursion was lacking personality and something personal, and that's why I think it could have been much better.
