The local guide in Sienna was very good, she really knew Sienna and it's history. I was disappointed that because we were late getting to Sienna, the guide was made to rush us through. I would rather have had a more leisurely tour and less time fro lunch.

My Review
Avila and Segovia were both amazing but I was very disappointed with the guide. He was competent and knew his subject matter but he was not at all engaging and did not encourage questions. I felt he covered what he had to and not a bit more. I think we were just unlucky because we did the Toledo trip the next day and had a much more committed guide. Having said that, the trip has made me determined to go back one day to discover both places in more detail.
