3-Day Italy Trip: Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento and Capri

My Review: All in all it was a great trip. The hotel in Sorrento was clean and friendly. The day trip to Capri was wonderful and luckily the blue grotto was open. All of our guides spoke english very well.
The only negatives were the hour spent in Naples and having to stop in Pompeii and Naples. This didn't get us back to our hotel until after 10pm in which we had a tour booked early for the next morning. Also, it would be nice to have a few options for the third day before returning to Rome.

My Review: My husband and I booked this trip since we were staying in Marbella, Spain, for 5 days. We figured it would be a nice day trip and are very pleased we took it. The coach was clean, the ferry ride was quick, the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, and the weather was perfect. Upon arrival in Tangier, we met up with a Moroccan tour guide who spoke great English and was open to answer any questions. The first part of the tour was of the newer part of Tangier done from inside the coach. The Moroccan tour guide pointed out all the different areas, explained Moroccan culture, and provided us with some history. We stopped so people could ride camels. While the camel ride is only for a short minute, I feel it is worth it. The coach took us to the older part of town, the Kasbah. From here we got out on foot, stopping a few times to listen to the guides explain something or to ask questions. We also stopped once to observe a snake charmer. Lunch was provided and was a delicious Moroccan meal that consisted of soup, lamb skewers, and cous cous. After lunch, we were taken to a carpet store and medicine man. While I didn't particularly like the carpet store, I'm sure some people did. All in all, it was a great day and I would definitely recommend it. There are only two negatives. One, the coach was scheduled to pick us up at 630 am and didn't arrive until 720. And two, the street hagglers in Tangier are horrible. They pretty much bombard you and are quite annoying.
