Venice Marco Polo Airport Link Departure Transfer

My Rating

This was a great way to get to the airport! Our driver was on time and the trip across the lagoon was a wonderful way to say arrivederci to Italy! We were the only ones on the boat, so we didn't have to fight crowds and could enjoy our last views of Venice.

Venice Gondola Ride and Serenade
Venice, Italy
My Rating

I'm so glad we booked this gondola ride! Yes, it's touristy, but so what? It's a fun way to spend some time in the early evening and we didn't have to haggle on a price! We didn't have the musicians on our gondola, but we were all so close together it didn't matter. Lots of fun!

Skip the Line: Venice in One Day
Venice, Italy
My Rating

The boat tour was the best part of the trip! There were small groups that went on individual 'taxi' boats and you were able to see a lot of Venice! The walking tour we could have skipped. The audio was difficult to hear and we didn't get to spend enough time in St. Mark's Basilica. I would rather use Viator to get the tickets to 'skip the line' and explore the Basilica and Doge's Palace on my own.

A great way to 'skip the line' and see the Uffizi. Our guide was ready with tickets and we just jumped right in to the museum - even though we were 30 minutes early. Very convenient!

Cinque Terre Hiking Day Trip from Florence
Florence, Italy
My Rating

Our guides Stefano and Chris were awesome! The Cinque Terre is a MUST-DO - we actually wished we would have been able to spend a night or two in one of these beautiful towns. Word of caution - the 2-hour hike is NOT a moderate hike, but more strenuous than expected! You need to be at a HIGH level of fitness to enjoy. Think of the first part of the hike as taking uneven stairs to the top of a 40-story building! Rest assured, there are options to take the train and enjoy the towns for those who do not want to hike. If you are unsure at all - take them up on the train option! Also, if you have allergies (i'm allergic to shellfish), know that the guides will ensure you get a subsitution at lunch. Extremely well run!

Skip the Line: Ancient Rome and Colosseum Half-Day Walking Tour
Rome, Italy
My Rating

Once again, Viator saved the day! This is the only way to see the Colosseum and the Forum. There is NO WAY you will want to wait in the long, long lines to see the colosseum. The audio was clear and our guide was excellent. We noticed that the Viator tours run by 'Dark Rome' had the best audio. Very informative and just the right length!

Rome by Night Walking Tour
Rome, Italy
My Rating

This was the only tour in Rome we wish we would have skipped. There was information OVERLOAD and the audio was not very clear. After a long day of touring, it was too much for us. The benefit was seeing the Forum at night - with no one wandering around. However, you could easily see all of these sights on your own.

Skip the Line: Vatican Museums Walking Tour including Sistine Chapel, Raphael's Rooms and St Peter's
Rome, Italy
My Rating

Our best tour of Rome! Alfredo, our guide, was outstanding! He ensured we saw all of the must-sees in the Vatican museum and helped us with all questions. Booking a tour is essential to skipping the long, long lines. Plus, once the tour is finished, you still have time to explore St. Peter's on your own or climb the dome - without having to go through the security lines again. They definitely have the clearest audio system.
