This was a great way to quickly visit 2 iconic tourist sights on the outskirts of Paris, although pricey for what you actually had time to see!!! Having a guide was definitely an excellent idea although she wasn't permitted to "guide us" at Giverny - but who needs a guide in this beautiful garden? Lunch was lovely. The time spent at Giverny only allows you a snapshot and no time to browse and really enjoy, just sitting under the trees and admiring the flowers plus a quick purchase at the museum shop. We only got two half hour stints in the gardens at Versailles as they would not allow our tour to enter early and so we missed the opportunity to wander through the gardens and down to the boats. If you have limited time and lots of euros to spend on a guided tour then this is a tour worth doing. If, however, you have plenty of time in Paris and can see these places separately, do so - you will get much better value for your money going solo and hiring an audio guide.
