This tour is operated by Brussels City Tours. I called to reconfirm the day before the tour and was advised to be ready at my hotel at 1245. The tour was to depart from the main station at 1200! I called the day of the tour to make sure of the time and was told to be ready at 1130! If I relied on my first call, I would have missed the tour.
On the bus to Bruges, we were given some information about the city, but not much. Upon arrival we went from the bus stop to a restaurant for lunch. After that we walked to the square. Hardly any information was given on the walk about the city at all. Since we were not going to take the optional canal boat ride, were were told were to take the city bus back to the tour bus or walk back.
I have used Viator many times and I respect their product. However, this tour was not up to my expectations. I would have been better taking the train and walking the city on my own.
