A brilliant trip and great way of being introduced to the main sights and given an overview of the City's history. This was all accomplished in a very friendly, amusing and informative way by our superb Czech guide, Helen, who was just brilliant. She made the trip!

Although the hotel pick-up didn't extend to those staying in the Albaicin the tour of the Alhambra and gardens was excellent. This was due in no small part to our guide Trinny who was just brilliant; experienced, knowledgable, informative and with a good sense of humour. Very well done to her.

Rome Departure Shuttle Transfer: Hotel to Airport

My Review
Departure shuttle was good although the driver was too early for, an already too early, pick up time. This meant that we were at the airport almost 3.5 hours before departure which was really wasted time. Also, had we not been waiting at hotel before scheduled time, one wonders whether driver would have waited the specfied 5 minutes beyond stated pick up time.

Long wait at airport (30 mins) for shuttle. Arrangements seemed a bit chaotic. However we were eventually delivered safely to hotel.

My Review
Very disappointing. Whilst the food was excellent the so called safari was pretty pathetic. The animals are clearly encouraged to be visible either by being fed or maybe even being secretly tethered - too dark to see whether this is so. They were no more wild than the visitors and some of them looked fairly forlorn! A Disney theme park with animations would have been better. The tour guide on the coach to and from safari was excellent - a really nice chap informative and with good sense of humor.

2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better

My Review
Good in parts. The guide was OK, but the visit to the craft centre was awful and a waste of valuable time. Much better to have had this time at the Botanic Gardens, for example. Also too much time in Little India. The tour did not even include the sight of Raffles Hotel!
