Chicago Airport Arrival Transfer

My Rating: 2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better

My Review: The trip was good and convenient for a late evening arrival. Driver was very friendly. However, the service at the desk left a bit to be desired. Basically just a go out there and wait. Would recommend this for an arrival late at night, if you have a lot of luggage or are going to an out of the way hotel.

Highlights of Amsterdam Sightseeing Cruise

My Review: There are a number of cruise boat companies offering different types of cruises in Amsterdam. Depending on your preference and the dates and length of your stay, I would suggest taking at least one. This was only an overnight stop this trip, so I opted for just a general tour to give my companion an overview of the city. You can generally buy tickets for these cruises right at the pier except for some of the dinner and specialty cruises as there are cruises departing constantly. I prefer to prepay, however, as it is more convenient for me.

Normandy Beaches Half-Day Trip from Bayeux

My Rating: 5 star rating: Highly Recommended

Location: Bayeux, France

My Review: Took the minivan tour and it was great. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a cold and rainy day, but it really made the tour better. The weather was similar to the weather as it was on D-Day and made it much more relevant. I would definitely recommend this tour over a large bus tour anytime and will probably do the full day tour in the future.

Bateaux Parisiens Dinner Cruise on the Seine

My Rating: 5 star rating: Highly Recommended

Location: Paris, France

My Review: Great cruise and a wonderful meal. The live entertainment was very good and the service excellent from the minivan driver to the service on board. The only downside was a family that had brought some preteen children along, and they got bored and started running around. I would recommend this cruise to anyone wanting to see Paris by night and have a good meal while doing so.

Historic London Pub Tour by Minivan

My Review: Great tour and learned a lot of British Pub history. Do be aware that there are a lot of narrow stairs in these pubs and some low ceilings. There is also some walking to different pubs on the tour. If you have trouble walking and/or climbing stairs the tour may not be for you. Though this is not a pub crawl, there is ample time to have a beer or an ale at several of the stops. Very friendly driver who took us back to the hotel we were staying at rather then our pickup hotel as it was near his house.

We Will Rock You Theater Show

My Review: This was one of my reasons for the stop in London. I saw the show in Las Vegas and loved it. The show in London, though based on the same theme, is not the same show as was the one in Vegas. It's almost twice as long and has a number of songs they did not do in the United States. There are also a couple of songs they did in Vegas that they do not do in this version. If you like Queen, or real rock music in general, this show is for you.

My Review: If you have a flight arriving late in the evening, or have a large amount of luggage this is the way to go. No hassling with buses and or trains. Driver was waiting for us when we cleared customs.
