Great guide with excellent knowledge of the history and culture of the Mayans. It was a mixed tour, 3 Spanish speakers and 4 English speakers, which slows the tour a little, but out guide did make sure we were under the shade while explaining the many wonders of Uxmal and Kabah. A bonus was being picked up from the Hacienda where we were staying. A 3 course lunch was included which was a bit time consuming but did give us a chance to chat with fellow travelers. And we were also given a side trip to the chocolate factory and museum. Altogether a very worthwhile and enjoyable day.

We enjoyed a great morning with our guide Lety. We visited 6 different types of 'eateries'', with excellent descriptions of the different foods we were tasting. From tamales to tamarind ice cream, a wonderful walk around the lovely Polanco area, with Lety giving us an insight into the history of not only the food of Mexico City, but its history and culture also. We would highly recommend this tour.
It was a great tour although would have liked to have finished a little earlier than the 6.30pm as we had to go out to dinner. Would also have liked to have had the taxi ordered to enable us to get back to our hotel from the home where we did our cooking class.
But the cooking class excellent and very detailed, and the vist to the market so very interesting and a chance to ask about the many foods on sale.
