Private Citroen 2CV Tour: Essential Paris

My Review: Having booked several trips whilst I was in Paris, I can honestly say I think this is one of the most worthwhile and a huge amount of fun! My driver, Charles, collected me from my hotel as arranged, and although it was raining at the time, suggested it was best to roll back the roof to maximise the effect, whilst gallantly offering me his hat to protect me from the rain! This was definitely a suggestion well worth taking as the view through the roof enhances that you can see through your windows. Charles was both interesting and charming, and it was a pleasure to race around central Paris with a local, as well as good fun when other tourists spotted us in a car so quintessentially French - we must be in several holiday pictures other than our own!! This trip is highly recommended - make it part of your trip and you won't regret it. The sun came through in the end making this a really unforgettable day.

Paris Evening Tour on an Open-Top Bus

My Review: I arranged the Open Top Bus tour for the first night I was in Paris as the trip had been recommended by my parents. I felt it would be a great way to see the city lit up by night and assess my bearings and prioritise attractions to visit. It's a great idea to arrange this for 9.45pm as you get the full benefit of twilight going into darkness. The city and the tour most certainly didn't disappoint. Paris by night is absolutely equisite! I would make one suggestion for improvement though and that relates purely to the commentary. Firstly, there was too much music, often repeated several times over and over again, including somewhat bizarrely for June Christmas carol tunes. I would have preferred to have much less music and more informative commentary given the wealth of history Paris has to offer. That said, I would still recommend this trip for all age ranges and profiles - overall, it was worth the money in my opinion.
