My Review

The tour guide/bus driver was great, very informational, easy to understand and I found his commentary the most interesting part of the tour. I just thought the redwoods were boring. I guess I thought we would see the trees you drive through instead these were the tall trees that tower and you just walk on a wood path through the forest looking at the same type scenery over and over. I did not think the redwoods were anything spectacular as I have seen tall trees before and walked through forests. When we got to Sausalito it was crowded and though the city is nice and views beautiful we did not have time to do much but walk thru it, grab a cookie and leave. The bus driver dropped us off at a cool point to take a picture of the Golden Gate which was another highlight.

My Review
I took at least 5 tours in France and England and this one was the best. Firstly, the bus was comfortable and not crowded. The guides were good and organized. The things we saw were AWESOME. Skip Paris and go beyond the big city. We took our huge bus through tiny little mid-evil villages, saw awesome, awesome castles, forts, amazing cathedrals. The American WWII museum made me cry. The itinerary was GREAT. The hotels were nicer than in Paris. Nothing fancy but they worked great for our family of three. The food was surprisingly good. I have been on tours before so I expected sparse bland food and the food was enjoyable. My 5 year old went with us and even though it was history overload she enjoyed the walking, then resting in the bus and then seeing the villages. We of course made the history fun for her. Castle and Langeas had a super cool treehouse she loved. I LOVED the places we visited, this was exactly what I wanted to experience, life as it used to be. Get out of Paris!!!

Versailles, Paris City Tour and Seine River Cruise Day Trip

My Review
The process was smooth for us. However, Versailles was so packed that it was a bit hard to appreciate. Yes, we got right in with our tour guide, who was knowledgeable, but it was too crowded. The gardens cost extra. Versailles was not so good for kids. The Paris tour was good, wished our bus was open top for better pictures. The Eiffel Tower was the reason to purchase this trip, we walked right onto the elevators and had as much time as we wanted. The cruise could be taken at our leisure and was interesting and good. As others have said, the lunch was not too good. Irish pub, food was marginally good, but I didn't do this for the food.

My Review
I thought this was convenient and easy to figure out. There were people waiting at the morning pickup points to help us get onto the right bus. We got on both the audio commentary bus and the personal commentator one, and both were good. They did not have a fun pack for my little one, although they had a children's channel that she enjoyed.

Skip the Line: Tower of London Tickets

My Review
We took our 5 year old with us, and they had audio for kids. It was a little difficult as she kept hitting the wrong buttons on her audio player, but the Viator tickets were convenient. No waiting or anything. The Tower of London is full of history.

The London Bridge Experience and the London Tombs

My Review
This was not a historical tour, so if you want to learn history or see it, that is not what it really is. But we had fun. We took my 5 year old and only went through the first section, which was great fun. Actors took you through different parts of history about the bridge in staged settings; they were humorous and interesting. I did get historical information from it, but we did not see anything historical.
