My Review: The tour was offered at the same price as booking directly with Moulin Rouge. It was easy to find the meeting point on Rue De Rivoli. The tour operators were efficient and helpful. The guide prepared us well for the night out. The night tour was a great way to start the evening. The seats for the show were satisfactory.

My Review: The transport from the resort to the boat could have been better. However, the rest of the day was great. All the people on the boat were very friendly and very professional. Our tour guide was exceptional. He kept us all safe and made sure we saw everything of interest. The food was pretty much the same on all the boats. $25 for a fully escorted days snorkelling with lunch included.... Excellent value! I've recommended this tour to heaps of people

Private Convoy Transfer from Luxor to Hurghada

My Review: Private convoys were abolished about two years ago. The guide met us at our boat after breakfast on the last day of the tour. We were driven in a minvan from Luxor to Hurghada. The guide was very pleasant but somewhat superfluous. The driver had enough English to get by. We were intrigued by the amount of traffic on this road across the desert and the fact that we never lost mobile coverage along the way. We felt safe at all times. The tourist police have check points along the route and follow your progress. Because the trip takes approximately 4 hours, there is a compulsory stop at a souk along the way. Have plenty of small change with you. Not even the toilet is free! We thought about taking the bus for $10 but are glad we didn't. The bus is a minivan with lots of people crammed in. This is a great alternative to flying. The door to door service is fantastic.

4-Day Nile River Cruise from Aswan to Luxor with Optional Private Guide

My Review: Excellent value for money. Private guide means private guide! Our guide, Hatem Saman met us at our accommodation and we started with a land tour in Aswan. We boarded the boat for lunch and and were pleased with the quality of the boat. Hatem accompanied us on the boat. At first this seemed weird, but we soon realised other people also had their own guide. This is much better than being in a group, you get the type of tour you want. Hatem was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Egyptology. He gave us time to look around ourselves and made the tours enjoyable. We were able to skip the things we didnt want to do and do more of the things that interested us. The tour is not exactly 4 days as everyone leaves the boat after an early breakfast on Day 4. Many people went on to do extra tours with their guide on Day 4 but we were heading to the Red Sea, so it suited us perfectly. The only difference I can see in this tour and longer tours offered by other companies is that the longer tours seem to have more days at leisure.

My Review: A great way to get your bearings in Cairo. Our guide was very knowledgeable. Shared lots of interesting information not just about the stuff on the tour but also about life in present day Egypt. Lunch was great but a bit rushed. Perhaps less time spent in Governmental controlled stores would help.
