Orginally from Chicago, moved to NYC in '99. As the Director of Programs and Operations, I am proud to be a part of one of the city's largest emergency feeding organizations: Yorkville Common Pantry. Check us out: www.ycp.org. Engaged to a wonderful man, Oscar. We live in Sunnyside Queens and we make each other incredibly happy, sharing our lives together. The two loves of my life were my boys: Diego and Mosley. They were brothers, beagle terrier mixes, I adopted. While I lost Diego in July 2010, he's still in my heart. Mosley and I miss him very much.

If you take the other full day guided tours, this is not so necessary, but it still is a great way to see the city.

The tour company was right there to pick us and take us to the hotel. I highly recommend this service. Arriving in Istanbul can be a little overwhelming, but was happy to have this set up before we arrived.

Toledo Half-Day or Full-Day Trip from Madrid

My Rating

Took the half day tour and while is was great, the full day probably would have been better. We saw the Cathedral but didn't go in. It felt a little rushed.

El Escorial Monastery and the Valley of the Fallen from Madrid
Madrid, Spain
My Rating

The Valley of the Fallen was closed for renovations, so we spent an extended time at El Escorial which was great! The guide was fantastic. I was impressed because she had to give the tour in English, Spanish and Italian and did it phenomenally!

Outstanding! Obviously geared toward tourists, since Flamenco is not originally from central Spain, but we loved it! The dinner was great and the dancers were spectacular.
