Medoc Art and Wine Day Trip from Bordeaux

My Review: We had only one day in Bordeaux and had booked this tour ahead of time. I'm so glad we did! The first chateau struck us as a bit odd, like the inmates had taken over the asylum, but it was pleasant, informative, and the wine we tasted was very nice. The other two were impressive and elegant. The lunch we enjoyed near Chateau Lynche Bage was very satisfactory and fun. Over that meal our table enjoyed two bottles of wine, one which sold across the street for 83 euros. We enjoy wine but do not consider ourselves experts or even good amateurs, but the ambiance, information, chateaus, meal, and wine we enjoyed was very special! At the end of the day we weren't exhausted, stuffed, starved or drunk, we were pleased and happy, and ready to enjoy a nice evening in Bordeaux. The tour was well worth the price and made for a memorable day. Thanks to our chateau tour guides, and everyone at the Bordeaux office of tourism.
