This was the highlight of my 3 day visit to Tokyo. I spent 2 days exploring the city, but it wasn't until I took this tour that I really felt I was seeing the country. It was great to see the greenery of rural japan en route to Mount Fuji. It was very cloudy, so we only had a brief view of the peak, but it was interesting to see how busy the 5th station is for hikers. The trip was worthwhile since after lunch, we took a beautiful cruise and cable car around Lake Ashi. The journey back was delayed, and if you're short on time or money isn't so tight, the train is probably a better option. The night drive through the city to Ginza made up for the traffic jam. Overall, the tour was extremely interesting and enjoyable, with an entertaining tour guide!
