I would definitely recommend this tour. If you have a short stay in Rome, this is the best way to go about seeing most of the major sites. You will find however that some sites were repetitive. The location for catching the bus was great, and neutral. You can stay on or you can get off. Definitely get off for the Trevi Fountain as you won't be able to see it from the street. Overall is was a good quick tour.

This day tour was a good one and it was a beautiful day for it. Our guide Deborah or Debra was great, although I had a hard time understanding her, the trip was good. Siena was our first stop, where we met our English speaking tour guide Lara/Laura. I also had a little hard time understanding her as well, but it was good. Seeing where the Palio di Siena was held,in the II Campo (the main square) was the highlight of this day. Visited the Duomo. Had lunch in the square and just people watched.

The drive and scenery was good, but the overall tour could have been better or I could ave chosen to do something else . The driver was a little rough and didn't explain things properly or better and of course many of us were not from Europe. The first big problem or misunderstanding was about the "tax free" shopping. When we were crossing the border back into Milan, he stopped and said something over the microphone but didn't quite understand. Needless to say, something was mentioned about shopping and tax free and that we should ask information once at the outlet. Well I did and they told me I had no problem. When we stopped at the border, I saw folks with a special envelope and when I asked one young lady where did she get that, she said the store gave it to her. I didn't get one, but I didn't spend over $300. So I say that to say, whoever the tour guide/ driver is, they should be a bit more clearer in explaining something like that for especially travelers who are not familiar with certain laws and or restrictions. I could have gotten in trouble :-). I for one don't need 4 hrs to shop if I know what I want, I go get it and its done. I also thought the tour specified that we would get coupons to some stores which would take an extra % off but the only thing that was handed out to us was a coupon off for chocolates. I personally could have done without going and done a different tour. I'm no shop o holic, so maybe I should not have gone. It was just OK!

This was a good and informative tour. Interesting to say the least and the pride and effort that goes into the work, it's really worth seeing and possibly buying something after seeing and hearing how its done. The items were beautiful!! The glass factory is a little on the expensive side and even the souvenir shop. No matter what u purchase, they are great either as a gift or for yourself. I did purchase something from the glass factory. If I had known I would have waited and bought from the lace shops. Overall it was good. Definitely not for everyone. Both locations are quiet and basically, it was just us tourists. Our guide Francesca was very nice, knowledgeable and friendly. Also I met a couple of other travelers on this tour and they were pretty awesome as well. Jerry and Fran from Florida.

A tour that I would totally recommend. It was a gorgeous day to have done this tour and glad that I did. Our tour guide Maximo was great and hilarious. He was a great tour guide. We stopped in Delft where we were able to be shown how all the items are made and then on to a showroom with the finished products just in case you wanted to buy something. Note" If you are on a budget, you really wouldn't be able to buy anything. They are beautiful, very beautiful but they also cost a bit. I mean you are getting the original and good stuff. We also stopped at the auction house where we got a glimpse into how the prep the flowers for shipping like place to New York! They were beautiful and a busy warehouse. We then went on to Hague where we had some photo ops and also where we stopped to eat a nice meal. It was a great day as I said and glad I did this tour. Thank you VIATOR!
