2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better

My Review

Our guide for the trip was lovely, and very informative about Balinese culture. However, we did not stop in Ubud and visited 4 shops/factories in the morning, so that we did not reach Kintamani until the afternoon. As a limited factory tour, it was fine, but as a tour of Bali, it was disappointing.

My Review

This is a pleasant trip to two pretty towns that I wouldn't have reached by local train or bus. Our guide was absolutely wonderful and made a point of addressing each traveler individually. I was pleased that I didn't have the included lunch as it provided me with an opportunity to wander around the town instead. Even my 12 year old enjoyed the trip, despite having to walk a great deal in the heat.
