This was an enjoyable trip and the guide certainly knew a lot about the region. The family member who showed us around the castle was amusing, entertaining and knew a lot of the family history. However, I felt we learnt more about the process of making olive oil than of the wine making. We didn't see any of the wine making process, the vines, or the bottling? The 3 wines we tasted were very good, as were the snacks that went with them. A nice trip, but'I don't think this would suit real wine buffs.

I absolutely loved this tour. I was a bit nervous about riding a bike as I haven't done so for a couple of years. There were only 3 of us on the trip and our guide Michele was great. He knew a lot of the history of Florence and told us without it being boring. We stopped often for the chance to take pictures. The gelato halfway through the trip was great.
As much as I enjoyed this, it was a bit scary weaving in and out of traffic and people, and I would not like to do it in the busier periods.
