The guide was excellent! She gave us enough information to make it interesting. Pity the main walk didn't start earlier and end in St Marks so that we could have stayed inside longer and then seen the balcony etc at the same time. Time of entry was perfect as lights were on inside.

It is a taster only as not enough time on each island especially Burano, where you could either have a drink or look at a couple of shops but not do both. I could have stayed there all afternoon!

Information was much the same as the walking tour as the guide talked about St Marks Square too. Also as it was near a film festival and boat race, too much time was devoted to that and not enough about buildings or history related to the Grand Canal.

It could have done with map to show where bus stop was by the station but apart from that this was one of the best open top tours we have done and certainly best value for money! 2 tours in one and breathtaking views too! Make sure visitors know that this is best as other tour bus company only does city center.
