My Review: You can't go wrong with the Highlands!!! We've done several trips (last year and this year) and it's all so beautiful and magical. The castles are amazing and the villages are perfect. I wish there were more options for next time!!!

Warwick Castle, Stratford, Oxford and the Cotswolds Day Trip from London

My Review: Overall, the trip was very good. Oxford was very impressive — much more than I expected! Warwick Castle was amazing, but a little too comercialized for my taste. I LOVE renaissance festivals, but in this case, that atmosphere distracts from the fact that you REALLY are in a medieval castle. It's well worth it to walk up to the walls and towers — the views are fantastic! The disappointing factor of the trip was that it says it includes the Cotswolds. I was super excited about this, but the bus just zoomed on through, not even slowing down slightly (much less stopping for a minute) to be able to get a decent picture of a thatched roof cottage (at the very least!). Better planning in this area would have been GREATLY appreciated.

2-Day Mont St Michel and Chateaux Country Tour from Paris

My Review: Mont St Michel was fabulous! The day was a bit hazy, but the views were still wonderful. It's a lot of climbing for people with any physical impediments, though. The Chateaux were extraordinary and the commentary about them was very interesting. The dinner provided was quite good, but it's too bad they didn't choose a hotel in an area with things to see and do. The only option was to sit in the room.

Paris to Bruges Day Trip

My Review: EXCELLENT trip! The bus ride is very long, but well worth it! Bruges is absolutely beautiful and has abundant shops with lots of great items. The hand-made chocolates are fabulous, but do melt easily, so be careful. The guide was very good and we had a decent amount of time on our own.

Moulin Rouge Paris Dinner and Show

My Review: The show was excellent. It was quite expensive (dinner and show), but worthwhile. The only disappointment was that I purposely purchased the most expensive meal because I thought it was the beef option (not lamb!). When I got my meal, it was lamb. I did not enjoy that at all. I still am not sure whether the menu was reversed online or if I misunderstood. The show was excellent, though. I'm not sure how they determine where you sit, but it seems like the earlier you get there, the better seat you should get, but that wasn't necessarily the case. We were almost the first ones in, but there were much better seats still open when they sat us down.

My Review: The tour was very good overall, even though it rained most of the time (to be expected in this area). The windmills were amazing, but I was disappointed that by the time we arrived there, the nice litttle shops were closing. If they had told us that they would be closing soon, we could have gone to them first and taken pictures and gone to the cheese shop afterwards.
