This service started off extremely well in a sedate amble round the waterways stopping off at several different spots allowing you to pick a place to explore, such as the stop for the Galleria mall and Las Olas boulevarde. The commentary was very interesting although you might have to listen to the same details taking the trip back but this was the way to chill. The only drawback was it's relaibility as in our return from Las Olas was held up for quite some time when the arriving boats decided they didn't want to stop at all the stops, cutting out our stop? No reason given and this makes the service too unreliable!

Windsor Castle was brilliant (the day was warm and sunny, which helped). Also the Lunch at Harrods was fantastic. Definately recommend both.

This unpleasant trip up the Thames was extremely boring, due to the lack of any commentary, Simple stacking plastic chairs on a barge does not make a River Cruise and was a very bad advertisment for London as Italian tourists were advised by a American Tourist that The Houses of Parliament was really was Westminster Abbey , which I had to correct, without any help from the small number of crew, which you only saw when people were embarking or disembarking at the stops on the way.

Walking among the giant redwoods was wonderful and serene. The leafy canopy held off most of the rain, which was constant. Sausalito was a quaint little harbour walk again spoiled by the rain but the tour was spoiled even further by the tour bus not using air conditioning and causing all the windows to mist up and block any views at all!

The SF tour was appropriate, informative and covered all the bases on a nasty cold, wet day although the speed of the commentary was machine gun-like it might have been better to have seen some of it out of the windows that were opaque from condensation! Alcatraz was very interesting and understandable why the worst of the worst were put there as the weather was horrendous - inside and out! But worth the effort.
