Girona and Costa Brava Small Group Day Trip from Barcelona

My Review: The last stop on the coast was breathtaking. Guide gives you brief history at each stop then lets you explore on your own which was great. Get a snack in Girona if you don't eat a big breakfast and have a nice late lunch at the last stop on the coast. Only complaint would be that the driver allowed passengers in front of the 3 row van to keep turning off the air despite more than one request from the back row to keep it on because it was very hot in the back of the van. Jump in the front of the van if you can!

Royal Castles of Neuschwanstein and Linderhof Day Tour from Munich

My Review: Our guide was very informative and nice. If I were to do anything different I might not do the inside tour of Linderhof castle. It is very nice inside, but doing that tour does not leave much time for exploring the grounds and other buildings which are so pretty. If this trip were extended by an hour, it would be great. The inside tour of Neuschwanstein is pretty short and crowded, but we knew that going in, so were not upset. There is not much else to see surrounding that castle, so the tour is worth doing. The stop in Obbergamau was alright- it is certainly a touristy stop. Lots of people on our bus were very excited about it so they could stock up on cookoo clocks and other trinkets. The bus ride itself is amazing. You get to see some amazing countryside and our driver deserves a medal for his ability to maneuver those tight mountain roads! Make sure you set your watches and be on time back to the bus. Not just for courtesy to your fellow travellers, but they will leave you. We left 2 people who were late at the end of the day and had already been late before. None of us travellers who had a full day of climbing and exploring objected though! I would highly recommend this trip- it is so nice not having to worry about coordinating entrance ticket times and figuring out all the logistics for one day of your trip. You can even eat lunch at a place they pick out or venture out on your own. I learned more on the bus from our tour guide than in any of the castle tours also! It was great- just wish it was a little longer .
