Singapore's Chinatown Night Walking Tour

My Review: From the start of the tour in Chinatown you are met with a very happy tour guide. This wasn't as easy to spot and there was no name badge etc to make her stand out from the crowd, except she was standing still and not Asian! Everything is clearly stated, duration of time, locations to visit etc. The hardest thing is not to shop on the way! By the time you finish the tour, the stalls are all shut and you have to make a return visit. Not a hardship as Singapore's Chinatown is such a wonderful place to visit and with the education you receive from the lovely guide - on your return visit you will see it in a whole new light anyway!! I won't give to much away, just know it is most informative - delivered in a very tasteful way, the history, the hardships, the people - you gain a complete understanding of life and buildings used to be for the early arrivals to Singapore. There is so much to learn, you don't feel uncomfortable at anytime and 'The Dragon Lady' takes really good care of you. I would have to say it has been the best tour we have every been on, NOT ONE TO BE MISSED.
