Went by water taxi to the airport. Took about 35 minutes - a bit cramped on the boat but would use this seervice again.

This was quite expensive but well worth it. Watching all the water taxi's come into port was good fun. We had our taxi to ourselves and it took about 20 minutes to get to our hotel. Best way to enter Venice if you can afford it.

Not really worth it for us apart from the Metro. The bus routes were difficult to understand and we only went to one of the places that offered a discount although this did give us 20% off.
