There wasn't really a lot to see in Genoa. The Hop-On Hop-Off Tour allowed us to see the sites at our leisure, which was good. It was kind of hard to find the stops though. The bus stop signs should be a little bigger. Overall, I think this is worth doing if you want to see the sites on your own without a guide.
The Wine Trolley was a nice way to see Sonoma, learn a little culture and visit a few wineries and vineyards. The trolley ride was smooth, but be 1st in line to be able to sit on the outside, because even though the driver says there isn't assigned seating, people will leave their belongings, marking their seats.
The vineyards we visited were nice, my favorites were Ravens Wood Winery and Mayo Winery. I learned a lot and the tour of the vineyards and wine making process was really nice. Be prepared to shell out about $35 total for tastings. Lunch was nice, sandwiches and potato salad at Buena Vista Winery and that tour was also nice. Overall, I had a nice time and it was a good experience.
