Fantastic time. Food and service were both excellent. Nightime views on London from the river were worth the trip! The only negative was the too-loud music - but then it was a showboat dinner cruise.

The guide was top notch and the logistics went well. We were able to see a lot of Paris, and the guide was a font of information. The only negative was that the actual tour operator had the seats assigned on the train all mixed up so that couples traveling together were not seated together and we were unable to figure out a way to juggle the assined seats to fix it. Why would I want to sit next to a stranger when traveling with my spouse? - although for some of you that may be a good thing! If you book this tour, spend a little time to find out the actual tour operator and then find out your seat assignments on the train. Tickets are also available for forward facing or rearward facing seats in the event you have motion sickness issues and don't want to ride backwards at 150 MPH. Take care of yourself regarding seats assignments on the train.

The boat ride was fun, but the time at Murano, Burano, and Torcell was too short. We received the bum's rush at each stop. Not an enjoyable experience. One would be better off to take the water taxi to the islands on your own.

The serende consisted of one singer in a flotilla of several gondolas and he was too far away to hear and enjoy. Our gondolier spent most of our ride on his cell phone. The restaurant was a little hard to find, so print out a google map before you go. The dinner was excellent.

A little pricey but it was good to be delivered right to the door of our hotel. The train station to Rome is within walking distance of the port, so save yourself some money by riding the train to Rome and THEN get a taxi to your hotel.
